Bluestones Staffing is partnering with a client based in Antrim to hire Production Machine Operatives on a permanent, immediate basis.

Location: Antrim, Co. Antrim

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Rate of Pay: £11.44 – £12.50 per hour (depending on experience, increases after probation)

Hours of Work:

Week 1: Monday to Wednesday, 6am – 6pm
Week 2: Thursday to Saturday, 6am – 6pm

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up gluing machines according to specifications, adjusting settings for temperature, pressure, speed, and glue application
Load materials (e.g., paper, cardboard, or wood) into the machine, ensuring they are aligned properly for efficient production
Adjust the machine to meet product standards, such as glue application width and material thickness
Oversee the production process, ensuring smooth operation and addressing issues like misaligned materials, glue overflow, or machine jams
Maintain consistent and even glue application to avoid defects in the final product
Make necessary adjustments during production for optimal performance
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Follow safety protocols when operating heavy machinery and handling adhesives
Keep the work area clean and free of hazards, using protective gear like gloves and safety glasses

Essential Criteria:

Experience in a similar role as either a Production Operator or a Machine Operator
Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain high standards of product quality
