BSNI is working with a leading furniture company, based in Nutts Corner to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader.
Location: Antrim
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £12..56 – £13.00ph depending on experience
Night shift: 4 on 4 off 5.30pm – 6am
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of materials and products. If you have strong leadership skills and a background in warehouse management, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
– Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff
– Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols
– Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and organizing materials
– Utilize a warehouse management system to track and monitor inventory levels
– Operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and move materials
– Build pallets and prepare shipments for delivery
– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
– Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
– Perform regular inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs
– Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
– Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.
– Proficient in using a warehouse management system.
– Forklift certification is required.
– Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is preferred.
– Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
