Job description
BSNI is working with a leading Manufacturing and distribution company in the Ballymena area and due to continued growth within the Business they have an opening for a Health and safety officer.
About the Role
* To Create a positive and proactive safety culture within the workplace
* To Maintain, develop and audit AG’s integrated HSEQ Management system to ensure a culture of continuous improvement is sustained while maintaining a working relationship with all internal and external regulators and stakeholders
* Contribute to a workplace culture that promotes and supports the physical and mental wellbeing of all employees and assist in ensuring the delivery of suitable HSEQ instruction, information and training
* support, implement and improve the use of the Engage HSEQ technology across the sites and encourage AG’s positive reporting strategy through the development of shared ownership
* Any other duties commensurate with the role and within skills and capabilities
What you will need
* Relevant 3rd level degree or equivalent
* 2 years relevant experience
* Good oral and written communication
* Computer Literate
Desired Criteria
* Previous experience in concrete products manufacturing environment
* NEBOSH Diploma
* Accredited Internal Auditor for HSEQ
* Experience of Management Systems
* Professional attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
