BSNI is working with a leading distribution company that is based in Lisburn, due to continued growth a securement of a new contract they have a requirement for Transport Planners.
Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 D.O.E
Location: Lisburn
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Day shift
GB experience is required
You will have previous experience of organising transport or distribution across the UK or Ireland, possess great organisational skills and enjoy working within a fast paced environment.
Duties:
Plan & Organise daily work schedule and routing for drivers & trailers
Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently daily
Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
Deal with any issues that arise, and problem solve effectively
Requirements:
Previous Transport/Logistics/Planning experience
Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties.
Willingness to progress your career
Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment
