Bluestones Staffing are partnering with Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council to hire a Project Support Administrator on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a full-time position with an immediate start required upon selection.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Job Type: Temporary ongoing via Agency
Rate of Pay: £15.70 per hour
Location: Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn, Co. Antrim
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination, administration, and delivery of projects related to the Council’s Economic Development Strategy
- Ensure compliance with project expenditure, including documentation for internal finance, audit staff, and external grant awarding bodies
- Administer the collation and production of financial reports on performance and budgetary management
- Develop and maintain records, databases, and information systems, providing reports for unit staff as needed
- Undertake research to support targeted projects and programmes of work
- Support the maintenance of the Council’s online platforms, including social media, and assist in creating promotional materials
- Assist in organizing and managing events related to the service
- Provide general project administration support, including preparing presentations and procuring goods/services
Essential Criteria:
- Two A-Levels (Grades A-C), NVQ Level 3, or equivalent
- Three years of experience in three of the following:
– Delivering funded projects, including financial administration and liaison with funders
– Conducting research to develop projects and programmes of work
– Planning and coordinating events such as workshops and information sessions
– Marketing and communication activities via social media and printed media - A full and current UK driving licence and access to a car (unless covered by the Disability Discrimination Act)
