Key purpose of the job
To be responsible for the supervision and organisation of the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Summer Scheme. The post holder will be responsible for the health, safety and welfare of all children and staff for the duration of the scheme. To ensure that all duties are performed at a high standard and in accordance with all policies and procedures set down by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council.
Essential Criteria
It is essential that applicants have a minimum of Teaching / Youth Work Qualification at NVQ level 5 or equivalent.
It is essential that applicants are at least 18 years old on or before 19 June 2023.
It is essential that applicants have a minimum of:
- Two years’ experience of working with children.
- Experience of coaching various activities and/or an arts/crafts qualification
Desirable Criteria
It is desirable that applicants have the following qualifications/certificates:
- First Aid
- Defibrillator
- EpiPen
