BSNI have a fantastic opportunity for our manufacturing client based in co Dublin for a Territory Sales Representative covering Greater Dublin / North Leinster area or Connaught region

Territory Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining and developing their own customer portfolio, with a keen focus on account management, to capitalise on customer relationships, follow up leads and maximise the potential for growth of all Products to our merchant partners and Contractors.

Hours / Salary:

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Salary starting from €30,000 PA- depending on experience
Commission scheme
You would be responsible for :

Develop strong trading relationships with existing customers, closely monitoring their performance and buying behaviour
Maximising sales and profit, showcasing your product knowledge with an ability to sell solutions to help solve technical Customer issues
Constantly monitor market activity to keep ahead of headwinds and tailwinds
Develop the portfolio within your territory to add value
Build a Target list of prospects to grow your market share within your territory
Conduct regular branch reviews with Key merchant partners – developing our product range and their product knowledge and relationships
Scope, target and manage projects within own territory – ensuring a healthy project pipeline
Target, Grow and develop relationships within Key Construction contractors, Specifiers and M&E consultants – providing expert advice and support
Ensure a correct balance of merchant partners / Contractors to maximise Push/Pull strategy in own territory
To produce and analyse sales data about customers – using Excel spreadsheets, QlikView and access database and any other relevant media
Have an ability to operate at various levels – C-suite to site
Become a passionate expert within the product range
To report back to the sales manager on a regular basis with relevant area trend information
To attend and actively participate at regular sales meetings
To liaise with Marketing about promotions and selling collateral
To link in all promotions and projects in conjunction with any current marketing strategy and to promote them to merchants and Contractors
To participate in marketing events such as trade shows and to represent company
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills to facilitate all the above
Scale and Territory Indicators:

Manage a customer ledger of active trading accounts within defined territory.
To represent the product range and focus upon product lines which have been identified as priority.
This is not an exhaustive list and may be updated as the business and individuals grow

The person must have:

Pass grades in Math’s & English or equivalent
Significant Experience in Construction industry solution selling
Ability to communicate concepts, promotions, products and services to customers using a variety of media
Market Awareness of this Industry
Ability to listen to customer concerns in a professional manner and to effectively resolve them.
Eligible to work in ROI
Hold a full clean driving license
Proficient in Microsoft Office Package particularly excel, word and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the flexibility to deal with individuals at all levels
Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise a wide variety of tasks
Knowledge of piping products and services would be advantageous
Knowledge of discount structures and promotional plans would be advantageous
