BSNI have a fantastic opportunity for an industrial cleaner based in Belfast City Center
Location: Belfast – lifts provided if you need to travel for work.
Hours: Day shift.
Rate of pay: £13 phr
Responsibilities
Clean HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, including ductwork, fans, filters, and vents.
Inspect vents and duct systems to identify blockages, mold, or contamination.
Use cameras or borescopes to inspect inside ductwork.
Record before-and-after photos and document cleanliness standards for compliance.
Operate industrial vacuum systems, air compressors, and rotary brush machines.
Handle and apply cleaning agents and disinfectants according to safety protocols.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned after use.
Follow safety procedures to protect themselves and others from hazards like mold spores, chemicals, and confined spaces
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately (e.g., gloves, masks, coveralls).
Prepare and submit service reports to supervisors or clients.
Advise clients on potential issues or future maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate records of work completed for insurance and compliance purposes
Remove dust, mold, grease, and other contaminants from air ducts using specialized tools and chemicals.
Conduct deep cleans of kitchen extract systems and industrial exhaust systems to comply with fire safety regulations.
Candidate requirements:
Minimum 1 years industrial cleaning experience required
Own safety shoes and hi-viz
Driving license and own car would be advantageous for the position
