Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability

Bluestones Staffing is proud to be working with a well-known distribution company located in the Belfast area. Due to increased demand, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to support their busy operations on a temporary basis.

Key responsibilities 

As a Forklift Driver, you’ll be a key part of the shipping and receiving process. You’ll be responsible for ensuring materials are handled, stored, and moved efficiently and safely.

Key Duties Include:

• Operating forklifts safely to transport materials across the warehouse

• Loading and unloading lorries with precision and care

• Updating inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Performing regular safety checks and basic maintenance on forklift equipment

• Supporting with general shipping/receiving tasks and verifying shipments

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment

Candidate requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment

• Understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory management procedures

• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• Strong mechanical awareness for basic troubleshooting and equipment checks

• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items safely

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
