Bluestones Staffing is working alongside a leading distribution company in Ballymena that is continuing to expand. As a result, we are recruiting for a reliable and experienced Yard Operative with Forklift skills to join the team immediately.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has previous forklift experience, and is looking for a stable, long-term role.

About the role
As a Yard Operative, you’ll be supporting day-to-day yard activities and ensuring smooth operation of deliveries, orders, and stock control.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Picking and packing customer orders
Providing customer service within the yard
Assisting the Yard Manager with daily tasks
Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
Carrying out regular stocktakes
Keeping the yard clean, safe, and well-organised
Candidate requirements
Essential Criteria:
Previous experience operating a forklift (valid licence required)
Prior yard operative experience
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed
Strong work ethic and team player mindset
Desirable:
Access to own transport (due to location)
