Job Description:
BSNI have an excellent opportunity for our manufacturing client based in Toome for Production Operatives to join their expanding team!
Hours:
DAY SHIFT – Monday – Thursday 6am – 4pm (4 day week)
EVENING SHIFTS – Monday – Thursday 4pm- 2am (4 day week)
Car is required to get to and from the location – no public transport
Rate of pay:
DAY SHIFT – £12.21 – £13 Per hour (depending on experience)
EVENING SHIFT: £15.86 – £17.11 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Duties:
Operate and monitor KBH and dry side machinery.
Carry out safe and accurate mould changes to ensure product quality.
Maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness; follow health and safety protocols.
Proactively suggest improvements and support continuous process enhancements.
Perform additional duties as needed, including quality control and forklift operation (with license).
Inspect paving products for cracks, chips, and colour consistency
Strap and wrap bales securely for safe storage and transport
Keep production areas clean and equipment maintained daily
Operate machinery on the FC and grinding lines
Drive forklifts (with a valid license)
Follow health & safety protocols and suggest improvements
Candidate requirements:
Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
Meticulous attention to detail and willingness to learn, train, and operate machinery
Excellent communication, reliability, and proactive attitude
Experience in a similar role and a current forklift licence would be advantageous
