BSNI is working with a leading Service Engineering company in Mallusk to recruit and experienced service engineer (on-vehicle). Working with a small team and managing your own workload to cover Southern Ireland – Dublin area.
About the role
This role will deal with the daily fault requests, PPM duties and installation activities for a broad client base in the vehicle industry mainly for bus, coach and rail customers.
Job Purpose
To support in service activities including installation and fault rectification to ensure the region is the efficient and profitable by meeting customer expectations, within agreed timescales.
To assist in the training of the Field Service Engineers.
To enhance the reputation of our client at every opportunity when interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal customers.
Ensure clear and continuous communication between the field and regional management.
Location & Travelling
Base location is our NI office in Mallusk. Travel to customer sites within region or outside of region when requested. Overnight stays maybe required when travelling outside of the region. Expected to travel to head office in Nottingham occasionally when required.
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday. 40hrs per week – must be flexible
Skills & Qualifications
Experience in CCTV, Auto Electricals or Electronics
Knowledge of DVRs and components
Excellent communication skills to establish and translate customer requirements
NVQ and Apprentice trained (not essential)
Full clean driving licence
Knowledge of bus, cctv or electrical.
