BSNI is working with a leading furniture delivery company to recruit x 2 Newly qualified 7.5tonne drivers with immediate start.
Location: Mallusk
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £28,000 – £29,228
Hours of work: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 7am – 7pm.
As a Driver, you’ll be delighting customers at the final stage of their journey with us – creating that all-important lasting impression. From bustling city high-rises to cosy countryside homes, no two days are the same. Whether it’s a recliner or a footstool, you’ll deliver it all with a smile (and share a laugh with your teammates along the way).
What you’ll be doing
Complete all deliveries into customers’ homes in a safe and professional manner.
Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery to ensure that they know you’re on your way to their address.
Ensure furniture is delivered to the room requested by the customer and that we do not leave them with any rubbish to dispose of.
Work with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and continually improve the standards of service we offer.
Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, informing the line manager of any defects/missing items immediately.
Comply with all driving laws as defined by the government and all company policies and procedures.
The role is for you if…
You hold a 7.5T Licence, Digi Tacho, CPC Card and valid UK manual driving licence (minimum 12 months, max 6 points).
You’re great with people and enjoy helping customers.
You’ve got strong time management skills and thrive on variety.
You’re comfortable installing and lifting heavy furniture in different home settings.
You take pride in your work and value safety – of yourself and those around you.
You’re ready to work as part of a supportive two-person team.
