BSNI have a fantastic opportunity for our manufacturing client seeking a temporary forklift driver based in Lurgan.
Hours and rate of pay:
Monday – Friday: 8am – 4pm
No weekends, early finish Friday.
£12.73 per hour
Job duties:
Loading and unloading containers, trailers and other vehicles in accordance with safety procedures.
Handling diverse loads which can include products such as Forklift trucks, dropped masts, counterweights, carpet yarn, Forklift truck Cabin’s, engines etc.
Working on an outside mobile ramp in all weather conditions.
Checking, cleaning & photographing products before storage and loading.
Checking documentation against goods received and goods dispatched.
Checking for damages and discrepancies.
Processing and picking customer orders.
To undertake duties including regular repetitive lifting and carrying
Liaise with drivers, warehouse and office personnel.
Maintain good housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding areas.
To be adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
To ensure compliance with company policies & procedures and maintain a high level of Quality, Health and Safety standards.
Candidate requirements:
Valid counterbalance forklift license.
Working within a warehouse / factory environment.
Minimum 1 years experience forklift driving.
