Bluestones staffing is working with a leading distrution company in the duncrue area and due to securing a new exciting contract they have a requirment for 3x Dayshift warehouse Operatives
Hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am – 6pm 5 x 8 hour shifts
Location: Belfast Duncrue
Salary £13.02phr
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, supporting materials handling, shipping and receiving, and stock management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic logistics environment. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, along with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The role involves physical activity, including heavy lifting, and requires adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Responsibilities
Handling materials efficiently and safely across various warehouse processes
Operating warehouse machinery (training provided)
Managing inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and locations
Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading lorries
Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch
Heavy lifting will be required for this role as you will be off loading E Bikes
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse
Please note you will be crossed trained across all operations so working in chill enviorment at certain times is required
Skills
Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments
Knowledge of materials handling equipment, including forklift operation (certification preferred)
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control
Ability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in picking, packing, and stock management
Mechanical aptitude or knowledge of basic repair procedures is advantageous
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Physically fit with the stamina required for manual handling tasks over extended periods
