BSNI are working with leading hotels in Belfast to recruit Kitchen Porters.
Location: Belfast City Centre
Salary £12.71phnr
Please note this role is only as and when required. Therefore, there are no guaranteed hours.
- Washing dishes and utensils
- Constantly cleaning plates, pots, pans, cutlery, and cooking equipment—often using industrial dishwashers.
- Keeping the kitchen clean
- Wiping surfaces, mopping floors, taking out rubbish, and making sure hygiene standards are met.
- Basic food prep
- Simple tasks like peeling vegetables, washing salad, or portioning ingredients.
- Stock handling
- Unloading deliveries, organizing storage areas, and rotating stock (FIFO—first in, first out).
- Supporting chefs
- Fetching ingredients, clearing workstations, and helping wherever needed during busy service.
A minimum of 6 months experience is required.
