BSNI are working with a leading company in Belfast City Centre to recruit Food Service Assistants. This role involves supporting the daily operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food preparation, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel settings is desired.
Salary £12.94 phr.
Hours: as and when required. Adhoc.
Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards
Serve meals and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
Support with delivery duties if required, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
Uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Take orders via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
Provide guest services that enhance overall customer satisfaction
Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all tasks
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
Experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is desired.
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to perform meal preparation and basic cooking tasks effectively
Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and phone etiquette
Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting
Organised with good attention to detail in handling food and guest requests
Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the food service environment, including serving, barista duties, or kitchen assistance
