Job description
BSNI have an exciting opportunity for an excursion operative for our packaging manufacturing client based in Belfast.
Hours of work:
· Monday – Friday: 7am – 3pm
· Monday – Friday: 3pm – 11pm
· Sunday – Friday – 11pm – 7am
Please note shifts change weekly and you must be flexible to work all 3.
Rate of pay:
· £13 phr
· Pay rise once permanent after 13-week probation period.

Our client founded in 1964 manufactures and converts a range of flexible packaging films, for various sectors including food, pharma and medical, made in a clean environment under modern quality systems against a background of continuous improvement.

Job Duties:
· Responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring machinery equipment.
· Wrapping pallets efficiently to client requirements ensuring accuracy.
· Pallet truck operation to maneuver products around the factory floor, placing them in correct departments ready for loading.
· Core cutting plastic products and packaging.
· General tidiness and personal hygiene always required on site.
· Forklift and pallet truck operation.
Candidate requirements:
· Experience working in a similar production environment.
· Machinery experience.
· Pallet and forklift experience would be advantageous.
