									<p class="s5">From 1<span class="s4">st</span> April 2026, the Government is increasing the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage across the UK. If you are paid at or near minimum wage, your hourly rate may increase to ensure you receive the new legal minimum.</p><h4 class="s7"><strong><span class="s6">What are the new hourly rates?</span></strong></h4><p class="s5">From 1 April 2026, the new statutory rates are:</p><ul><li class="s5">Age 21 and over (National Living Wage): £12.71 per hour</li><li class="s5">Age 18–20: £10.85 per hour</li><li class="s5">Age 16–17: £8.00 per hour</li><li class="s5">Apprentice rate: £8.00 per hour</li></ul><p> </p><p>These rates are set by the Government and all employers must comply with them.</p><h4 class="s7"><strong><span class="s6">Do I need to do anything?</span></strong></h4><p class="s5">No. If your current hourly rate is below the new minimum for your age group, your pay will be updated automatically. You do not need to request the increase.</p><h4 class="s7"><strong><span class="s6">When will I see the change?</span></strong></h4><p class="s5">The new rates apply to pay periods covering 1 April 2026 onwards.
