BSNI are working with a company in Newtownabbey to recruit a HGV Class 1 Driver. This position is temp to perm for the right candidate.
Location: Mallusk
Hours 6am to finish (Must be Flexible) Monday to Friday
Duration: Temporary to permanent for the right candidate
Salary Dayshift rate £16PHR – £21.28 OT rate after 50 hours
Key responsibility areas:
· Load vehicles for deliveries ensuring health & safety regulations/procedures are adhered to including weights and safe loading.
· Ensure tracking procedure is used at all times.
· Maintaining the driving hour’s rules & regulations regarding tachographs/Working Time Directives.
· Competency of paperwork, delivery notes signed & dated etc.
· High Level of Customer Service, aiming to exceed Customer Expectations at all times.
It is essential that the successful candidate will demonstrate:
· Flexible with working hours
· Have a customer focused approach
· Basic level of education
· HGV Class C&E licence.
· Driver CPC compliance.
Desirable Role Requirements:
· Experience strapping & chaining of loads.
· HIAB Experience preferable
