We are looking for an Accounts Administrator to work as part of a dedicated Finance
team to deliver efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
The main areas of responsibility will include:
• Sort, code and match invoices
• Enter and upload invoices onto the system
• Identify and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices and resolve
discrepancies
• Prepare supplier payment runs
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions
• Assist with month end closing
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Maintain accurate records
• Maintain confidentiality of organisational information
• Daily posting and allocating of payments received
• Provide administrative cover in the event of holiday and absence
• Provide administrative support to on-site management on a daily basis
• Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health and Safety
• Observe and comply with all good working practices within the office

Essential Criteria:
• Educated to GCSE level or above (including English and Maths – grade C)
• Excellent experience of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Effective telephone manner with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work confidentially and demonstrate professional integrity
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
• Be proficient in data entry, demonstrating an ability to work to a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work in a challenging and demanding work environment
• Ability to work flexibly on own initiative and as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria:
• Experience of using SAGE accounts package
• Experience of working in a busy office
