Overview
BSNI is partnering with leading hotels in Belfast City Centre to recruit a talented and motivated Chef. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food, hospitality, and delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will play a key part in supporting kitchen operations while ensuring exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Salary: Depending on experience.
Commis Chef – £14.02
Chef De Partie – £17.23
Sous Chef – £18.82
Lead Chef – £20.51
Head Chef – £22.77
Hours: Varied
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality at all times
Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation in line with hotel standards
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Monitor stock levels, restock ingredients, and ensure proper storage of food items
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
Assist with deliveries and ensure all supplies are checked and stored correctly
Support menu preparation and adapt to different service requirements
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Chef or in a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and adaptable approach to kitchen duties
