Bluestones Staffing is working with a leading distribution company in the Bangor area. Due to continued growth, our client requires a Warehouse Operative for an immediate start.
This role is primarily warehouse-based; however, driving to different sites and customer locations may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Heavy lifting of orders
Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring goods are secured correctly.
Carry out routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks, reporting any defects promptly.
Follow planned routes, adhering to road traffic laws and company safety procedures.
Assist with warehouse duties including stock movement, pallet stacking, and order preparation.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to coordinate deliveries and collections.
Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, vehicle logs, and inventory movements.
Requirements
Valid UK driving license.
Ability to lift heavy items.
Previous warehouse experience is essential.
Valid counterbalance forklift license preferred.
Experience within a pump distribution industry would be advantageous.
