BSNI are working with a leading company in Ballymena, due to continued growth, our client requires a warehouse operative. This position is temp to perm.
Salary £13.40phr
Hours: 3 week rotating shifts
Week 1, 6am – 3pm
Week 2 8am -5pm
Week 3 10am -7pm
Responsibilities
· Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
· Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
· Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
· Conduct basic equipment repairs as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
· Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols.
· Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
· Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are employed.
· Apply basic maths skills for inventory counts and order processing.
· Counter balance forklift driving
· Serving customer on site and loading items into there cars
Requirements
· Previous experience in essential
· Must have own transport due to location
· Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
· Proficient in materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting capabilities.
· Must have a valid counter balance Forklift license
· Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
