BSNI is working with a leading distribution company based on Castlereagh Road Belfast. Due to continued success I am recruiting for a Sales Ledger Administrator. If you are currently working as a finance administrator this is the ideal next step.

About the role:

You will be working with a small team who are initiative and driven to succeed, open to training and expanding the teams skill set. Working with an internal ERP system called Periot, full training will be provided.

Reporting to the Company Accountant, this varied role will provide you with the opportunity to gain experience across all areas of the Sales Ledger and Credit Control function and become an integral part of our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts.
Daily cashbook update and bank reconciliation.
Preparation of Bank Lodgements.
Preparation of Direct Debit files.
Issuing invoices, credit notes and customer statements.
Assist with Month-end close.
Monitor and manage outstanding customer balances, ensuring timely follow-up and collection.
Reconcile customer accounts and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
Track and document all communication regarding payments and credit with customers.
Setting up new customers. Updating and maintenance of customer caster file.
Various other duties as required for cover and support, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach.
